Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Optiflow Holdings Limited, the operator of wakati.work. You must be 18 or older and able to enter contracts to use it.

The service

wakati.work lets you create documents from templates, draft content with AI, sign documents electronically, export PDFs and share documents with clients through links and a client portal.

Not legal advice

Templates and AI-generated content are general starting points. They are not legal, tax or financial advice, and they may not suit your situation or the law where you work. You are responsible for checking every document before you send or sign it.

Your content

You own your documents. You give us a limited permission to store and process them only to provide the service. You are responsible for your AI prompts, for checking AI output before you use it, and for having the right to any content you upload.

Acceptable use

You must not use wakati.work for unlawful purposes, fraud, spam or forged documents; infringe anyone's intellectual property; or interfere with its security (for example malware, probing, scraping or getting around technical limits). We may remove content or restrict AI output that breaks these rules.

Our intellectual property

Optiflow Holdings Limited owns wakati.work, including its software, templates, styles, documentation and branding. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan.

Electronic signatures

Signing records the signer's own action. Uganda's Electronic Signatures Act, 2011 and similar laws generally recognise electronic signatures, but some documents (for example land transfers) may need other formalities.

Plans, payment and cancellation

Prices appear on the pricing page, before you pay. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled, and you can cancel anytime from Billing. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

Availability and liability

We work to keep wakati.work available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by document content, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. Keep your own copies of important documents.

Suspension and ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile. We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. The courts of Uganda handle any disputes.
